Thomas W. Buchanan Centre

Renfrew’s Thomas W. Buchanan Centre (TBC) opened in September 2003 in southeast Calgary. Featuring an innovative and accessible design, TBC is home to a library, greenhouse, sensory gym, accessible playground, and numerous imaginative learning and sensory spaces to help children thrive.

In total, TBC has five Early Childhood Services (ECS) classrooms for children ages 2 years 8 months to 5 years old, four Elementary Education Program (EEP) classrooms serving children between the ages of 6 and 12, and one Integrated Services for Children with Motor Disabilities (ISMD) classroom.
